The Kwara State Governor, Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed, has described as atrocious, despicable and unfortunate the kidnap of the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Ishola Balogun-Fulani, and the State Secretary of the party, Chief Bode Adekanye, by yet-to-be-identified people along the Abuja-Lokoja Road.
Ahmed, in his reaction to the development, contained in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Abdulwahab Oba, urged security agencies in the country to ensure early rescue of the APC chiefs.
The governor promised the readiness of the State government to render required assistance to security agencies in ensuring that both men regain their freedom.
Governor Ahmed urged anybody with useful information that could lead to the rescue of the men to avail security agencies such vital information.
The Governor also assured Kwarans that the State Government will always do the needful at all times to guarantee the safety of their lives and properties.
