The Governor gave the commendation in Ilorin while playing host to the new Commandant of the 22 Armourned Brigade, Nigeria Army, Sobi, Brigadier-General Sulaiman Idris and the outgoing Commandant, Brigadier-General Benjamin Sawyerr

A statement by the Governor’s spokesman, Dr. Femi Akorede, said Ahmed has only two authorized Facebook accounts, which are https://web.facebook.com/Saimaigida/?fref=ts and https://web.facebook.com/Abdulfatah-Ahmed-121771477889618/?fref=ts

The Governor made the call when First Class traditional rulers from Kwara South Senatorial District visited him at the Government House, Ilorin.
He promised that the state government would continue to assist farmers with information, seedlings and chemicals to boost agric-business in the state

The statement quoted Gold as saying the panels are to, among other functions, assess the operational practices of the institutions, examine the management of their finances in relation to available resources as well as assess the relevance of courses offered by both schools

According to the Governor, this incidence is particularly worrisome and disturbing at a time the state government was taking advantage of the improving fortunes from the Federation Account and huge success of the rejuvenated internal revenue generating mechanism to enhance the economic development of the State

Governor Ahmed said: “The increased allocation is complemented by the growth in our Internally Generated Revenue to ensure that the State Government continues to meet salary obligations and funding for infrastructure

Furthermore, the Kwara State Governor said despite experiencing a drop in monthly allocation from N3.2 billion to N800 million, the state government has sustained payment of its civil servants and pensioners through prudent management of resources and revenue reforms, which have increased Internally Generated Revenue by more than 100 per cent in less than a year
