The Peoples Democratic Party and All Progressives Congress in Ondo State shared two Federal constituency seats.
The Independent National Electoral Commission revealed this following commencement of results announcement.
Both Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye (APC-Ondo), representing Ifedore/Idanre Federal Constituency, and Hon, Gboluga Ikengboju, representing Irele/Owo Okitipupa Federal Constituency (PDP-Ondo), in the House of Representatives were pronounced defeated in Saturday’s elections.
Adefisoye of the All Progressives Congress, who scored 20,064 votes, lost to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon Festus Akingbaso,, who polled 24,263 votes.
Prince Jimi Odimayo of the APC polled 44,638 votes to defeat Ikengboju of the PDP, who got 21,066 votes.
