The Federal Road Safety Corps has begun the mental stability test patrol in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The patrol is meant to apprehend motorists who commit major driving infraction, especially usage of mobile telephones while in motion.
And the patrol yielded the first offender through Cobra 6, one of the 10 petrol motorbikes launched by the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, on Thursday.
According to available information, the offender was apprehended on Ahmadu Bello Way, Abuja on Saturday.
He was making use of his phone on wheel.
The Corps Public Education Officer, Bizi Kazeem, witnessed the apprehension of the offender as he went around the FCT to monitor the exercise.
