Forgery: Saraki, Ekweremadu’s summons pasted on National Assembly’s notice board

The summons for the appearance of the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, before a court on Monday over allegations of forgery was on Tuesday pasted on the Notice Board of the National Assembly.
Saraki and Ekweremadu have been dragged to court over the forgery of the Senate’s Standing Rules.
They are to be tried alongside a former Clerk of the National Assembly, Salisu Maikasuwa, and the Acting Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, Benedict Efeturi.
The four were to initially appear in court on Tuesday but the summons could not be properly served on them.
Owing to this, the court ordered that the summons be pasted on the Notice Board of the National Assembly.
This was done on Tuesday afternoon.
