The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has lost his mother, Hajiya Aisha Jummare Mohammed.
Hajiya Mohammed died on Wednesday in Bauchi, the Bauchi State capital.
Hajiya Mohammed, who died after a brief illness at the age of 80, has been buried according to Islamic rites.
She was born in 1934 in Alkaleri, the Headquarters of Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
She is survived by four children, namely Senator Bala Mohammed, the FCT Minister; Alhaji Adamu Mohammed; Hauwa Maijida; and Asmau Mohammed.
Upon receiving the news of the demise of his beloved mother, the Minister left immediately for Bauchi with his family members.
