Wolves keeper Carl Ikeme’s illness shocked the football world when it was announced.
Since his leukaemia diagnosis was revealed, support has flowed in for the shot-stopper from across the globe – and backing has continued in recent days,
A massive sign on the M6 bearing the 1Keme slogan has already been highlighted by the Express & Star.
But that is far from the only show of support for the star.
Some fans have gone the extra mile in their backing – with one wearing an Ikeme shirt at the summit of Mount Snowdon, and a group of young Wolves fans from across the pond bearing the motto #TeamKemes.
Meanwhile, Wednesfield FC have named a stand at their Cottage Ground after Ikeme.
An upcoming 24-hour shootout ahead of Wolves’ first Championship game of the year will also raise money for charity.
The footballing challenge is set to take place before the match against Middlesbrough on Saturday.
