Rt. Hon. Remmy Hazzan, the spokesman of the Ogun State Governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on Sunday alleged sabotage in an accident involving a diesel truck in the state on Sunday.
In a terse statement, Hazzan said the truck, which fell and emptied its content on Sunday along Papa-Ilaro Road, was meant to sabotage Abiodun’s inauguration.
A pre-inauguration church service held on Sunday in Ilaro for Abiodun.
Hazzan said in the statement: “It has just been confirmed that a truck laden with Diesel, in a manner that smacks sabotage poured the product on the entire stretch of the road from Papa to Ilaro, ostensibly to cause road mishaps, as many are set to ply that route today for the PRE INAUGURATION CHURCH SERVICE holding in Ilaro this morning.
“Road users are strongly advised to reduce speed considerably.”
