The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested the Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mike Umeh.
Umeh was picked up by operatives of the Commission on Monday in Lagos, following a warrant by a Sokoto State High Court.
He will on Tuesday (today) appear before Justice Bello Abass of the Sokoto High Court.
Umeh is an accomplice in the case of money laundering and misappropriation of public funds to the tune of N15 billion for which former Governor Attahiru Bafarawa of Sokoto State is standing trial.
