Dino Sporting Club targets Pro League spot

The Management of Dino Sporting Club of Abeokuta, Ogun State has declared that their target is to gain promotion from the Nigeria National League Division One to professional league status at the end of this season.
The President of Dino Sporting Club, Samuel Omamofe Columbus, exuded total confidence in his wards after Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Depros Football Club of Lagos in   a friendly match played at the Legacy Pitch of the National Stadium, Lagos.
They had earlier played a 3-3 draw with FC Barcelona Feeder Team in Lagos, FC Bulgrano, on Friday.
While applauding the Godwin Gibson Zaka-handled team for showing class against Depros through brilliant goals from back from injury striker Elijah Adekunle and Alabi Kabiru, Omamofe Columbus said the club’s players and officials are good enough to realise the dream of gaining promotion at the end of the season, starting March 14, 2020, considering the high level of discipline, dedication and focus.
He noted that beside promotion to the Pro League cadre, Dino Sporting Club is also aiming to make a bold impact in the Ogun State FA Cup and national federation cup.
He said: “In the last two and half years of existence, we have been gaining promotion   from one division to the other and there is no stopping us this time around.
“We will also continue to recruit, develop and export quality players to various football leagues of the world.”
