The results from the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory for the presidential election held on Saturday had been submitted to the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

As at press time, issues arising from the results were being tackled by the Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, especially that of Rivers State.

In Rivers State, the results from six of the 23 local government areas were not taken into consideration for various reasons, including violence.
