Mr Ikharo Attah, Chairman, FCT Ministerial Committee on City Sanitation, who disclosed this on Sunday in Abuja, said this was due to contravention of sanitation regulations.

This is even as the Senate President, Dr. Ahmad Lawan, said that the National Toll-Free Emergency Bill presently before the National Assembly would establish a channel and put in place a structure to guarantee swift security response to Nigerians in times of emergencies.

Some residents of the area had protested over a suspect who was earlier rescued by the police from an angry mob for knocking down two passengers on Monday 17th May, 2021 leaving them with serious injuries.

It announced in a statement on Monday that proactive measures have been deployed within the city, especially at strategic places such as recreational parks/centres, worship centres and major highways.

Among the suspects is one Mohammed Musa, 30, said to be a member of a four-man car snatching syndicate, arrested by police detectives from Gwagwalada Division during a routine patrol on Friday 30th April, 2021.
