A Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court sitting in Abuja has discharged former Imo State Governor, Senator Rochas Okorocha of all allegations of corruption.
The suit was filed against him when he was Governor between 2007 and 2011 by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Justice Yusuf Halilu in his ruling Friday held that the action of the anti-graft agency was a gross abuse of the judicial process.
The jurist added that the EFCC should always be viewed to be compliant to the law that created it.
