The case was assigned to Honourable Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja but attempts to arraign Senator Okorocha were twice stalled owing to the absence of the ex-governor who evaded service of processes.
Okorocha was finally arrested Tuesday evening at about 6:30 p.m. at his residence in the Maitama area of Abuja.
The Senator’s second son, Amen Okorocha, was wounded in the melee and was being attended to as at the time of filing this report.
The anti-graft agency team stormed the residence of the former governor in the Maitama area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to arrest him.
