Margaret, the wife of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, has been rescued from her abductors, The Eagle Online has learnt.
Margaret was kidnapped on Thursday on the Benin-Agbor Expressway by heavily armed gunmen.
She was abducted alongside her driver and four other women.
Though available information was sketchy as at press time, The Eagle Online was told that a combined security team rescued her at about 12:30am on Saturday (today).
The Eagle Online was equally told that Margaret has since been moved to Asaba, the Delta State capital.
