A Mararaba, Nasarawa State Chief Magistrate’s Court on Monday sentenced a 29-year-old banker, Terungwa Emmanuel, to six months imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to stealing N834,780.
Emmanuel, an employee of Hasal Microfinance Bank, Karu in Nasarwa State, who resides in Mararaba, was arraigned on a one-count charge of theft.

“Emmanuel converted the money to his personal use and absconded to an unknown destination until he was seen and arrested on January 5, 2017,” Kwaza told the court.
