The Court of Appeal sitting in Jos, Plateau State on Friday nullified the election of Mohammed Garba Gololo as member representing Gamawa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State.
The court also ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct fresh election within 90 days.
The suit was filed by Alhaji Isa Mohammed Wabu of the New Nigeria Peoples Party challenging the election of Gololo of the All Progressives Congress, APC based on alleged certificate forgery.
Apart from the nullification of the election of the APC candidate, the court also barred him and his party from participating in the rerun.
