Justice Emeka Nwite, in a judgment, held that the court lacked jurisdiction to decide the matter after it had been adjudicated upon by a court of coordinate jurisdiction and an Appeal Court.

A three-member panel of justices headed by Justice Elfreda Williams-Dawodu, delivered the judgment on Thursday in Abuja.
In her judgment, she directed Zenith Bank to pay an interest of 15 per cent per annum on the N872,780,522.84 from May 17, 2011, when the advanced payment guarantees expired till judgment and thereafter at the rate of 10 per cent per annum until final liquidation
