Minister of Mines and Steel Development and an aspirant of APC, Dr Kayode Fayemi, on Saturday expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the Ekiti APC governorship primary election.
Fayemi in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Ado-Ekti, said that he was delighted with the smooth running of the voting exercise.
He said: “I can see that delegates from the 11 local government have cast their votes and there was no fraudulent acts or riot, everything is going on smoothly.
“I will give a comprehensive reaction at the end of the election and whoever emerges as the flag bearer of the party will be given maximum support from other aspirants.
“As at this moment, I could say that the voting exercise has been credible.”
As at the time of filing in the reports, delegates from 14 local government areas out of the 16 local government areas of Ekiti state have cast their vote, remaining two local government areas.
