Broken is the movie that celebrated actress Nse Ikpe Etim described as her most emotional movie ever. It stars talented actor, Kalu Ikeagwu; veteran actor, Bimbo Manuel and a collection of up and coming acts.
With outstanding directing skills from the director and the producer, Bright Wonder, Broken is an emotional flick centered around the lives of two adults and past lovers, Nse Ikpe Etim and Kalu Ikeagwu, once married, got separated and along the line, their lives were later thrown into chaos as mistakes of their past lives including the aftermath of the children they failed to bring up properly in their selfish union, come haunting their present as asylum, death-row and street living mar their once sane lives.
According to the director, Bright Wonder, “When we were shooting the movie, our intention was to do more than just a movie, we wanted to do what we call a total package movie, a movie that delivers on entertainment, moral lesson, high production quality and creative plot. In as much as we put in good effort, the outcome and response so far has shocked me, as many who have seen the movie has called me to say we did a very wonderful job. The number of awards we have been nominated for and won indicates that we did a good job. I have confidence that when the movie hits DVD in December 9, viewers will get value for every money spent.”
Bright, who is an Abuja based movie producer, said he has no doubt that the movie will be the best of Nse Ikpe Etim in year 2013.
