All is set for the World Press Conference by the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.
The World Press Conference is coming on the heels of the invasion and blockade of the National Assembly by operatives of the Department of State Services on Tuesday.
The blockade eventually led to the sacking of the Director General of the DSS, Alhaji Lawal Daura, by the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
Saraki, who had announced the reconvening of the leadership of the National Assembly for Tuesday, stayed away from the complex until it was vacated by the DSS operatives.
On his arrival, his media aide, Yusuph Olaniyonu, issued a statement saying Saraki will address a World Press Conference on Wednesday by 12 noon.
Another statement on Wednesday said those attending the briefing must be seated by 11:45am.
The Eagle Online Correspondent in the National Assembly is reporting that all is set for the briefing at the foyer.
