Udoh said the Government of Akwa Ibom State is poised and ready to conduct a free, fair and transparent election in the State and has created a level playing field for all to participate in the election.
He added: “Any attempt by those individuals to disrupt or cause a break-down of law and order in the State during the election will be dealt with, accordingly. The cardinal responsibility of Government is to ensure peace and safety of the people to carry out their legitimate functions and the Government of Akwa Ibom State remains dedicated to fulfilling this cardinal responsibility as defined by the principles of the Social Contract.
