A man who was identified as an aide to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has “congratulated” the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, over the death of his wife, Patience.
The man in a now viral video, was castigated by Nigerians for his poor English, saying it reflected the calibre of government appointees.
The man said in the video: “I congratulate His Excellency, the governor of the state, over the demise of his dear, lovely wife.
“I want to wish all of us a very happy stay today.

The Eagle Online recalls that Pastor Patience Eno died on September 26, 2024.
She was buried on November 29, 2024 after a funeral service at her country home in Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
