Nigerian youngster, Tosin Adarabioyo, has been shortlisted for the 2017 Golden Boy award.
Adarabioyo is joined on a 98-strong list by three other young City starlets in the form of Gabriel Jesus, Pablo Maffeo (on loan at Girona) and Enes Ünal (on loan at Twente).
Jesus is one of many of football’s brightest young talents to be nominated for Tuttosport’s Golden Boy award this year, a prestigious prize that has previously been won by the likes of Sergio Agüero, Raheem Sterling, Mario Balotelli, Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba.
Other top contenders for the award are; Gianluigi Donnarumma (AC Milan), Kylian Mbappé (Monaco), Ousmane Dembelé (Borussia Dortmund) and last year’s winner Renato Sanches (Bayern Munich).
Adarabioyo, 19, won his Champions League debut last year, as a substitute in a 1–0 win over Steaua București.
The defender has represented England up to U19 level.
