The member representing Pengana Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly on the platform of All Progressives Congress, Hon. Gondina Musa Sambo, has pledged his support to his party’s presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammad Buhari in the forthcoming elections.
Sambo said most Nigerians are disenchanted with the abysmal performance of the Peoples Democratic Party and are ready to effect the needed change that will enable the country to move forward.
“Even in the grave, Nigerians will vote Gen. Buhari for his selfless service to our father’s land,” he said.
Sambo, in a chat with newsmen in Jos, while reacting to a newspaper report credited to Femi Fani-Kayode that Gen. Buhari is not fit, said the PDP has no any tangible campaign promises for the people of this country.
He accused the PDP supporters of engaging in the campaigns of calumny, like “Buhari is not fit and has no certificate just to discredit him”.
The lawmaker added that Buhari is in perfect condition of health, adding that those saying he is not fit and has no certificate are afraid of his soaring popularity and would do everything possible to drag his reputation to the mud.
Speaking on the issue of Buhari’s certificate, Sambo said: “General Buhari went through so many military training both in Nigeria and overseas.
“All the courses he attended is equivalent to a doctorate degree, having been trained in the best military school in Nigeria and overseas and headed top military position and formations he is more qualify than President Goodluck Jonathan to led the country.”
