Alhaji Jimoh Kareem Orelope, a Lagos State popular politician and father to the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Adejoke Orelope-Adefuilire, is dead.
The close ally of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Ahmed, was reported to have died on Thursday in Lagos.
His remains, according to a family source, will be buried on Friday.
He was aged 101.
