Ambrose faces driving ban in Scotland

Super Eagles’ and Celtic of Scotland defender, Efe Ambrose, is to stand trial next month for careless driving.
The 25-year-old Hoops defender is charged with driving “without care and attention or without reasonable consideration for other persons using the road”.
Ambrose is alleged to have driven at excessive speed, braked sharply and repeatedly undertaken other cars on the Clydeside Expressway on December 18 last year.
Ambrose, from Partick, Glasgow, denies the charge and will stand trial at Glasgow’s Justice of the Peace court next month.
The Nigerian player joined Celtic in the summer of 2012 from Israeli club, Ashdod.
Ambrose studied British football by watching Scottish and English matches on TV after hearing the Hoops were interested in him.
Earlier this month, he signed a new four-year deal with the club.
