The Nigeria Women Football League will hold its Annual General Congress on Thursday (today).
According to the Secretary of the League body, Isaac Ajisafe, the Congress will discuss ways of moving Women Football League in the country forward.
Quoting his words, Ajisafe said: “We are happy to inform all our stakeholders that the Annual General Congress of the Nigeria Women Football League will hold on Thursday 28 February in Abuja.
“The meeting is expected to discuss the possible ways of moving the league forward, because we are ever determined to develop women football in the country, and takes it to the next level.
“We would also use the occasion to conduct the draws of the 2012/2013 Women Professional League which is expected to begin on Saturday 9th March, 2013.”
Ajisafe said that the venue of the Congress will be the Conference Hall of Idyll Foundation Hotel in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.
He said the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Aminu Maigari, is expected to declare it open.
