Years after the ill-fated Bellview Airline crash of October 25, 2005, it has been a bit difficult for the former airline’s chief promoter, Kayode Odukoya, to find his feet again in the aviation sector.
The acquisition of Bellview assets by a former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which led to the renaming as First Nation Airways, where he was made Chairman, did not make things better for Odukoya.
Odukoya is not quite happy with the way things turned out, especially with First Nation Airline going underground as well following the new law in the aviation industry that grounded other airlines.
Odukoya was spotted couple of weeks back at the 50th birthday of Tayo Ayeni, the Skymit Auto Motors boss, at Ikeja, Lagos.
At the party, he was not full life though but just sat down with a friend, taking champagne.
An indication that all was not well with him was visible on his face.
