9ice declares political ambition

Gongo Aso Crooner, Abolore Akande, famously known as 9ice, who has somewhat disappeared from the music scene for a while, has resurfaced again.
Only that this time around, it is as an aspirant of a yet to be made public political party and not in the field of music.
Akande officially made public his intent to contest for the Federal House Representatives seat for Ogbomosho North/South/Orire Federal constituency of Oyo State in the February general election in 2015.
Akande is the latest entertainer to declare his intent to run for an elective office come 2015.
Only last week, ace comedian, Julius Agwu, rolled out his posters, declaring his ambition to be the next governor of River State.
Others who have caught the political bug include Jibola Dabur, Kate Henshaw and Desmond Elliot.
They have all declared their intention to seek political offices in 2015.
