The Lagos State Police Command has revealed that a 45-year-old man, simply identified as Kazeem, has allegedly jumped into a river and died after taking hard drugs suspected to be Colorado.
The spokesman of the Command and a Superintendent of Police, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria.
Hundeyin told NAN on Sunday that the Alagbado Police Division on Friday at about 11am got information about the incident.

He said that the informant told the police that the deceased under the influence of a suspected hard drug ran uncontrollably and jumped into a river at Odo Tente, a boundary between Lagos and Ogun States.
He said the deceased allegedly drowned and died in the river before help could come.
The image maker said that the scene was visited by detectives from the division and photographs of the area were taken, while the corpse was evacuated.
Hundeyin said that the father of the deceased, when contacted through the telephone, directed that the corpse should be buried immediately by the river side according to their tradition.
He said that investigation was ongoing.
