One of the leading aspirants in Saturday’s Peoples Democratic Party presidential primaries for the 2023 polls, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has congratulated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for emerging winner.
It will be recalled that Abubakar defeated other aspirants, including the former President of the Senate, at the primaries.
In a statement he personally signed after the primaries at the Eagle Square in Abuja, the former two-term Governor of Kwara State equally thanked his supporters for participating in a worthy race.
Saraki wrote: “I thank all our friends and supporters across the nation for keying into our vision to provide #RealSolutions and #FixNigeria!
“I congratulate the winner of tonight’s #PDPPresidentialPrimary, His Excellency, our former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on his emergence as the Presidential flag-bearer of our party.
