Akeem Idoniboye, Lead Pastor, Glorious Destiny Family Church, has advised Nigerians to fully participate in the 2019 polls, vote in servant-leaders, and not only pray for good leaders to emerge.
Idoniboye gave the advice at a thanksgiving service on Sunday in Port Harcourt to mark the end of 2018 Men Destiny Conference of the church.
He said: “The 2019 general elections are coming and if Nigerians want good governance in Nigeria and Rivers State, then they have to participate fully.
“Nigerians should not just rely only on prayers, but should use their Permanent Voter’s Cards to elect good leaders.
The cleric called on the electorate to vote for candidates who had the peoples’ interest at heart.
He added: “We should vote for people like the biblical Abraham who is submissive, sensitive and faithful.
“Fathers of faith are always separate, submissive and sensitive. They set their own stage, make sacrifices and know when to substitute.”
Idoniboye urged Nigerians to put God first in all their endeavours as well as create time in their busy schedules to worship and serve God.
