Manager Gernot Rohr’s backroom staff will jet out to London in batches ahead of the Super Eagles friendlies against Burkina Faso and Senegal in London, The Eagle Online has gathered.
The team’s coordinator, Patrick Pascal, revealed that a group of the backroom staff travelled on Sunday, while others will join up with them in camp.
Pascal revealed that delay in issuance of visas caused the officials to embark on the journey in batches.
Team administrator, Dayo Enebi; team doctor, Ibrahim Gyaran; and kit manager, Chidi Ugoka, departed the country as they already have entry visas to the UK.
The rest of the delegation is expected to fly out on Wednesday, when they would have received their visas.
This delegation will include Eagles Chief Coach, Salisu Yusuf; goalkeeper trainer, Ikechukwu Ezenwa; as well as several NFF executive committee members.
The Eagles will face Senegal on Thursday at the Hive Stadium in London and will also do battle with Burkina Faso four days later.
Both games are to prepare the Eagles for crucial qualifiers later in the year.
They host South Africa in an AFCON 2019 qualifier in June and then face Cameroon in a World Cup qualifying double header from August.
