Based on complaints of burglary and stealing in the Kaduna State Government House, the police have arrested four persons.
The arrest was effected by the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team.
The team is headed by an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.
It was gathered by that based on several complaints of missing plasma television sets, laptops, phones and other government properties in the Kaduna State House Lodge, the IRT operatives in Kaduna were directed to swing into action, leading to the arrest of a four-man syndicate.
Before their arrest, members of the syndicate had stolen eight television sets, telephone hangers, phones, etc.
The names of the suspects were given as Aminu Usman, aka, Aminu Zola, 18, who is the leader of the gang and also a son to a staff in the State Government House; Shafiu Rabiu, 18; Abu Umar, 18; and Ibrahim Abbas, 20.
Two Plasma TV and one Nokia phone belonging to a Staff of the State House were recovered from them.
The suspects have all confessed to the act and are helping IRT operatives to recover the remaining stolen government properties, it was learnt.
