The National Emergency Management Agency, North East Zonal Office in collaboration with the National Orientation Agency has organised an awareness creation/advocacy campaign on the need for peaceful coexistence among returnees in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.
Recently residents of the local government area were returned back to their communities after two years of displacement caused by the Boko Haram insurgency.
The high point of the occasion was the presentation of 600 bags of rice and 800 bags of guinea corn by the Zonal Coordinator of NEMA North East, Alhaji Mohammed Kanar, to the returning residents.
