Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State will on Tuesday present the 2017 appropriation bill to the Lagos State House of Assembly for approval.
A statement signed by Bose Lambo, the Director Public Affairs of the Assembly, said the presentation would commence at 10am.
The statement urged invited guests to be punctual.
Lambo said: “Year 2017 Budget Estimates Presentation by His Excellency, Akinwunmi Ambode Governor of Lagos State will hold on Tuesday, November 29 at the Assembly Chambers, Assembly Complex, Alausa, Ikeja.”
Ambode presented the 2016 budget of N662.58 billion to the Assembly for approval on December 17, 2015.
The 2016 budget was made up of capital expenditure of N383.678 billion and a recurrent expenditure of N278.909 billion in the ratio of 58:42 respectively as against 51:49 in 2014 and 2015.
The 2016 budget represented an improvement of 26 per cent over the budgets of 2014 and 2015 respectively, which stood at N489.69 billion.
