Ghana’s Dancehall star, Stonebwoy, has triumphed at the 2015 BET Awards, winning the award for Best International Act: Africa.
Stonebwoy won at Sunday night’s star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles, United States of America.
Stonebwoy saw off stiff competition from Aka (South Africa), Fally Ipupa (Dr Congo), Sarkodie (Ghana), Sauti Sol (Kenya), The Soil (South Africa), Wizkid (Nigeria) and Yemi Alade (Nigeria) to take home the prestigious prize.
The BET Awards 2015 premieres simultaneously on BET and BET2 (DStv channel 135) at 8:10pm on June 30, 2015.
