The Technical Adviser of Warri Wolves, Solomon Ogbeide, has revealed that he is excited by the form displayed by new catch, Junior Osagie, saying that he is relieved to have captured the services of the former Enyimba player.
According to the Media Officer of the Warri, Delta State-based club, Etu Moses, Ogbeide has been singing the praises of the former Flying Eagles player and thanked God that the player has really surprised him with the form displayed in their training so far.
An elated Ogbeide who could not hide his joy said Osagie, as he is fondly called by fans, will help him to realise his dream of securing a continental ticket at the end of the season.
Ogbeide said: “I am happy with the form displayed by Junior Osagie because I never expected it as he is not 100 per cent fit.
“So I am of the opinion that by the time we finalise our pre-season training, he will have something to offer the fans here in Warri and beyond.
“Moreover, he is going to serve as a role model to the younger ones and no doubt about it, I am happy for him.
“I am equally happy for the remaining players who have shown that they are ready to play for the fans because they own the club.”
Meanwhile, Ogbeide has disclosed that he will only announce his final list after the friendly matches slated for the next two weeks and appealed to fans to be patient as he will not disappoint them.
He said: “I am going to announce my team after the friendly matches and no amount of pressure will make me to change my mind.
“I am going to expose them to the fans who are in a better position to judge.
“There is no secret about it.
“If you are good, you are good and if you are bad, you are bad.
“There is no two way about it as only the best is good enough for the Club.”
