The vacation of the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Architect Yomi Awoniyi, has been cut short.
Awoniyi, who was spotted in the state on Monday, had to hurriedly return because of the state Governor, Captain Idris Wada, got involved in an accident on Friday and had been in the hospital for treatment since then.
Awoniyi was in the United Kingdom when the accident occurred.
He was to spend 12 days, which was to include the festive period, before returning.
