Mallam Umar Sani, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Vice President Namadi Sambo, has lost his wife, Hajiya Sahura Umar.
A statement issued in Abuja by the Personal Assistant to the SSA, Alhaji Bashir Bello, said the deceased died at a hospital in Cairo, Egypt, after a protracted illness.
It stated that until her death, the deceased was a student of school of Nursing and Midwifery, Kaduna.
“Hajiya Sahura, aged 32, was a devout Muslim and a community leader who will be missed by her peers,” the statement said.
The statement said that the deceased left behind her husband, four children and her aged parents.
It further stated that the deceased would be buried according to Islamic rites in Kaduna as soon as her corpse arrives on Friday.
