Huge crowd turned out to cheer the Super Eagles as they had their first feel of the main bowl of the Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo on Monday evening.
The session, which lasted for about two hours, also had in attendance Etubom Paul Bassey, the CAF and FIFA Match Commissioner, and retired FIFA graded referee and NFigeria Football Federation Referees Consultant, Chief Linus Mba.
However, the two players that caught the fancy of the fans the most were team skipper, Vincent Enyeama, and Chelsea star midfielder, John Mikel Obi.
The fans hailed and applauded every of their moves throughout the session and it was as if the training session should not end again.
Some of the fans spoke in local dialect with Enyeama, while others spoke in Igbo to Mikel.
At the end of the day, the fans demanded total victory against Bafana Bafana, which Enyeama promised will be done by the grace of God.
