In continuation of the ongoing clearance operations of suspected Boko Haram terrorists hideouts, troops of the 155 Task Force Battalion conducted a patrol to Nimila village on Sunday.
During the operation, the troops rescued 14 persons from the clutches of Boko Haram terrorists and recovered weapons.
The rescued persons were mostly women and children.
The troops also recovered three Dane Guns, made up of a single barrel and two double barrels.
They further recovered three motorcycles abandoned by the terrorists.
This was in addition to two mobile telephone handsets.
