President Bola Tinubu has congratulated renowned banker, Dr. Lawrence Olusegun Aina as he celebrates his 70th birthday on January 31.
President Tinubu commended Dr Aina for his contributions to Nigeria’s development, noting his distinguished career spanning over 30 years, during which he served as the chief executive of a bank for six years.
The President extolled Aina’s pioneering role within the fintech industry and describes him as a visionary who established Fintech Associates Limited in 2002.
As former president of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Aina created the Africa Fintech Network, which he led as its founding president.

He was also the chairman of Odu’a Investment Company Limited between 2020 and 2022.
President Tinubu encouraged Dr Aina to continue contributing to the nation’s development and wishes him God’s abiding grace and good health.
