Tiger Woods has parted company with swing coach Chris Como.
Tiger Woods has recently recovered from surgery on his lower back which has kept him out for the best part of two years.
But the American thoroughly impressed when he returned for the Hero World Challenge last month.
The former world champion finished ninth in an 18-man field and many pundits have since backed him to get back to his dazzling best.
In a bid to replicate his form of yesteryear, and in hope of making the Masters in April, Woods has axed Como.
The pair had been working together since November 2014 but Woods released a statement confirming they had now parted company.
“Since my fusion surgery I have been working hard to relearn my own body and golf swing,” Woods wrote.
“I’ve done this by primarily relying on my feel and previous years of hard work with Chris.
“For now, I think it’s best for me to continue to do this on my own.
“I’m grateful to Chris Como for his past work, and I have nothing but respect for him.”
