Terrorists attack London, Cameron reacts

The British Prime Minister, David Cameron, on Wednesday described the attack on a man near a military barracks in Woolwich, South East London, which resulted in his death, as a terrorist incident.
Cameron, who cut short his trip to Paris, France, said the attack was “absolutely sickening, a most appalling crime; we have had these sorts of attacks before in our country and we will never buckle in the face of them.”
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that two men equipped with weapons and firearms brutally attacked the man believed to be a soldier.
In a swift reaction, Police officers, who arrived at the scene of the attack, shot the two men.
In a statement, Metropolitan Police Commander, Simon Letchford, said: “The two men, believed to have been carrying weapons, were shot by the police.”
Letchford said the attackers had both been taken to separate London hospitals and were receiving treatment for their injuries.
NAN reports that the incident occurred some 200 yards from the Royal Artillery Barracks in South East London.
