The party governors and other chieftains made the call at the grand finale of the governorship campaign rally held at the Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka on Tuesday.

Ozigbo spoke while addressing party faithful in Awka upon his return from Abuja.

Delivering the judgment, the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Monica Dongban- Mensem, who led a three-man panel of justices, held that the appeal filed by Valentine Ozigbo challenging the judgement of the Akwa High Court had merit.
Ozigbo said this when he spoke with newsmen on Tuesday in Awka, saying that Enemo was not imposed on him contrary to insinuations in some quarters.
Obi, who spoke at the recent Anambra PDP’s Reconciliation and Stakeholders Meeting at Awka, organised by Valentine Ozigbo, stated that it is important to elect into public offices, those who are still young and burning with youthful energy. He said that good governance is very demanding and can easily overwhelm any leader who is elderly and weak.
The list came as a surprise to many as prominent names, including that of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo and Valentine Ozigbo, who were expected to be candidates of the All Progressives Grand Alliance and Peoples Democratic Party were missing.
The PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, presented the certificate at the Wadata House in Abuja on Wednesday.
Obi in a statement by his Media Office also commended the other contestants that participated in the election for their hard work and sacrifices.
