The reaction came on the heels of Wednesday’s death of a Lecturer, Adedeji Adebolujo, which was linked to the failure of the institution to pay staff salaries.
According to available information, the lecturer, who was said to have last received his salary in May 2020, half payment, while about 65 months staff salaries and arrears still owned by the state government, died on Wednesday
The Union, headed by Ade Balogun, said it could no longer entrust the institution to him since he has proven his inability to manage it.
It was a day of reminiscences on the eight-year administration of Otunba Gbenga Daniel in Ogun State as stakeholders showered encomiums on his exemplary leadership qualities, foresight and sense of purpose.
