In a two-minute 33 seconds video watched on YouTube (Omoboriowo media) on Saturday, Adeniran said he stepped aside to allow a thorough investigation into the allegation of fraud levelled against him.
The gunmen, according to a statement, struck at the Ado-Ekiti country home of Akintoye on October 30, 2021.
The group also claimed that the gunmen attacked the daughter-in-law of its leader Akintoye last Saturday night at her residence in Agbor, Delta State.
