The Oyo State Government has said it remained committed to winning the war against insecurity in Oke-Ogun Zone.

He maintained that though there are still a few challenges, the administration has made real progress in developing the state, adding that he would like his government to be remembered for how well it has improved the lives of the people.

According to them, women-farmers’ travails in this region are worsened by COVID-19 pandemic, in spite of various programmes and interventions the governments at both state and federal levels provided.

The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche, said this while answering questions from newsmen at the updates briefing on military operations across the country on Thursday in Abuja.
